  • What has been your career path?
    • I started my career as a trainee engineer at Bennett, Coleman and Company Limited(Times Group)in 2005, straight after finishing my studies in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering. Then I moved to Siemens for 6 years, first as an application engineer , then as OEM system and solutions sales engineer. I joined AD- Rexel as a Sales Manager in 2014, where I since contributed significantly to company’s goal.

  • What are your current responsibilities?
    • I am primarily responsible for the sales and management of the OEM customer segment. In other terms, I supervise all the activities within the area or within the team to ensure Mumbai branch achieves it business plans/goals. This is done by building and delivering a business strategy, managing and motivating a team of 5 qualified sales engineers, ensuring first class relationships with electrical suppliers; manufacturers and customers alike.

  • What inspires you in your work?
    • If you are not happy with yesterday, try something different today. Do not stay stuck. It’s never too late to start. This simple principle delivers different results, each day, either positive results or tons of lessons. To be happy; motivated and task oriented does deliver often desired results.To be a manager requires enthusiasm, flexibility, a cohesive customer relationship and very strong will power. Additional attributes includea strategic vision and the will to promote talents within the team.
